Adebayor going, Vela coming + New Rumours
Real Madrid and Barcelona leave no opportunity to unsettle a player. The c*nts use newspapers to let know their interest in a player. And more often than not, they will quote huge figures to try and lure a player to their club. C*nts. Ever since Emmanuel Adebayor banged in 30 goals this season, the c*nts from Spain have started playing their dirty games. The newspapers there have written that Adebayor has said that he would love to play for Barca. Adebayor has come out and made it clear that he is staying with the club. He said:
“I don’t know why people want to put words in my mouth. As I said on Friday, I love Arsenal and I will be here next season. I am off to Togo tomorrow but will return to Arsenal for pre-season training in July.”
That should shut those b*stards up. Concentrate on the diver. Adebayor is staying in North London.
Reports in the media say that the club is going to offer new deals to Cesc, Gael, Adebayor and Bakary. The report suggests that the new deal for Cesc will be around £100,000 a week. What must Flamini be thinking?
Gael Clichy has announced that he will be signing a new four year deal with the club. He said:
“We’re at the end of our discussions, everything’s going well because my intention is clear: I want to stay at Arsenal. I would love to have a career here like Patrick Vieira or Thierry Henry, to stay many years at Arsenal and leave my mark on the club. I’ve been in London for five years. If everything goes well I will stay here for at least eight years. It’s a superb plan to throw yourself into the future with this group here. I never hesitated, not at all. Arsenal is one of the great clubs in Europe.”
The Boss revealed that the club is moving in to bring Carlos Vela to the first team next season.
“We have applied for a work permit for him now and he will be involved with the first-team next season. He has played the whole season at Osasuna on the left wing and he had to work hard there. But for me it is not his position he is a central striker, an Eduardo type.”
I was under the impression that the reason Vela was playing on the left side is that he will be playing the same role for us. Now if he plays up ahead, we will have Adebayor, RvP, Eduardo, Bendtner, Walcott and Vela. I remember how he made Sergio Ramos look like a bumbling idiot. Now he were to play on the left for us, imagine the pace we will have. Arguably the fastest full backs in the league + the fastest RM cum winger in Theo. Add to that the pacy Carlos Vela on the left. Ooh I can’t wait !!
In other news, Theo Walcott scored in a 2-0 friendly victory over the U-21 Wales side. The young man is gaining confidence everyday and did his senior team chances no harm as Fabio Capello was watching the game. Meanwhile, the papers link us with Marseille’s Samir Nasri. I don’t read much into that though because the boss said:
“I think a huge player is better than a huge name. You have huge names who produce very little at the moment”
That tells me to forget about a big name signing. It will be another Wengerful surprise for us Gooners.
Be back with more tomorrow.
