Arsenal To Sign St Etienne Duo

Posted in Arsenal by Our Correspondent on May 26, 2008

Four days, three states, 15 hours on road everyday and I’m back. Explains the four days without any post.

Not much happening at the Grove. So I’m going to keep this one really short.

We are set to sign St Etienne duo Mouhamadou Dabo and Blaise Matuidi. Full back Dabo and midfielder Matuidi are both French U21 internationals. I haven’t seen them play, so I can’t tell you more about them. The Boss is also said to be interested in 22-year-old Stuttgart forward Mario Gomez.

Meanwhile, according to Setanta, the boss said that Nasri will be signed before the Euro 2008. Good news that.

Update: Niki Spilevski, the agent of Alex Hleb, has said that Arsenal will not be blocking his move out of the Grove. He is set to go to either Real Madrid or Inter Milan. He said:

“I can officially confirm that a short time ago Alexander decided that he will leave Arsenal and join another club. Of course, Arsenal and Arsène wanted him to stay but they have accepted the player’s choice.”

Somehow that doesn’t surprise me at all. Now all we need to do is know where he wants to go. Then sell him to another club. F*ckin’ C*nt!

The Eto’o rumours have started again. Reports say the scum are after him, but he wants regular champions league action which we can provide. But I don’t think we will buy him. We already have 4 + 2 strikers in the team. And Eto’o’s attitude sucks to the core. So, please stay in Spain Samuel.

So that’s all folks. Be back with more tomorrow.
